JSUNPACK IS BACK: WOO-HOO! | a bit of verse in celebration

in  gratitude and celebration:

Dedicated, of course, to those responsible for jeek.org, where you may find jsunpack, as well as links to the source thereof, which this green geek must confess she had not the wit either to reanimate or to compile correctly during its long absence of her beloved generic javascript checker.

Let my long held fondness be proven, should proof entertain and delight, by its appearance in my silly little firefox searchplugin:

and the tutorial I wrote for a friend to go with it.

As usual, the text of this poem is appended cleverly in tiny one-point-sized text below (unless of course you have overridden that preference).

Thanks again, jsunpack.jeek.org.

JSUNPACK IS BACK: WOO HOO!

A Bit Of Verse To Mark The Happy Day

Just imagine: that yet unclicked link may be -- a disguise --

Sent securely, it's safe, surely -- certainly it seems

Uninfected by virulent malware, or suspicious prize.

Not reassuring.  Netizens wise, from such schemes,

Protect themselves and their browsing with one simple tool:

All before accounts are made empty, or inboxes full.

Credit be given where credit is due:

Know what you click on before it knows you.

Be seeing you.

The Palestinian Question | a poem by a faust (revised)

revised 8/18 -- first version here, for anyone who cares to see how my poems evolve (even though no one instance proves the rule actually) (and should one be that interested, please leave a comment, i would love to hear from you.  comments are why i blog).

The Palestinian Question
written even as Gaza is being bombed
again, like some Polish ghetto

to, when and no matter how frightening,
abandon that civilized ruth --

(useful obviously not whatsoever)
and endeavor this answer with truth;

to see in all the reporting, inventing,
slightly rephrased
the tired Question is brought;

to it we are taught responses;
by stinking trick long we've consented;
from it be assured, war will soon have new criminals wrought;

observe before you react.
sometimes you will be called

(coarse, too biased, or slight)

the truth may from actual facts -- not from talk --
-- but pay attention to

sources -- be startled squarely into the light:

the power
of a people it would repent me are mine
of Zion, a cancerous ill:

the horror
of a father's cries in Palestine
if his child
this Answer
will kill.

Sonnet To Paul Schou On The Occasion Of His Wedding by a female faust

Sonnet to Paul Schou,

Who Has Translated So Many Of My Binaries,

Celebrating the Happy Occasion of His Wedding

Like how two divers phrases may, invoked together as one 'string,'

See two Fortunes wax as great as now two one new meaning find :

Long having nurtured separate natures, what uniqueness each may bring

May be, with care, protected, with no importance left behind.

If any find this celebratory verse too - unremarkable,

let hasty Judgement yet be silenced, that Love Proper be respected;

For every Great Work become successful, for every Voyage made embarkable,

there are Ten Thousand things quotidian that must needs not be neglected.

Thus my advice to both of you is, above all, be careful to be Honest

That is, to pay attention to the other's words, not one's own second guess,

Love as bravely, and as fiercely, as you both well know you each Love best

Seek to place no blame upon the another.... Love will see to all the rest.

So this end-user, blessed these many years with her own Mr. Right,

has perhaps successfully - Xlated - the solid goodness of your site.

Good people know that deceit under cover

Eventually will out -- but since none live forever

That may happen not soon enough, or fast

What we found, by telling, and sharing, we could

Effectively hasten this justice, even cause -- we would

Live to see the world made right again, because -- we should

Laugh at long last then, as we should, at long last.

Some of us practiced and got good -- very --

Out-searching out-smarting out-thinking them

Outstanding so from the silent many:

Nemo vir est qui mundum non reddat meliorem

May this verse move the Heavens to bend circumstances

If needed invoke favor of God

Call upon Angels and Spirits and Chances

Health of our Michael restore. Healthy -- and happy --

Already and obviously wise

Enough to inspire us all; our

Love in return no surprise

To The Man Who Sees To The Fukushima News

or, to all who wrest truth from the teeth of convention

Because you are and have been, because --  you, now, & real

because true power stands, seen (& sees who'll cower & heel)

because over because through because up because to

because with because for because from because you

What had you in common with the others who knew

What answers, what questions; what sources, and who

What to sift through, to skim, summarize as you do

What hangs in the balance gives you vigour anew

Who that can must be doing despite what others can do

Who that does if he does finds he may in turn be done to

Who that has, and has had, finds up coming his due

Who that sees what is done finds in others his cue

Wherefore you have out of all of us, if fit, still too few

Wherefore all the more needed against panic anew

Wherefore Truth, patient Truth, if untold, is still true

Wherefore you, but one man, are -- as fearless as two

a thank you to a friend, inexplicably, in verse

May I point out the acrostic.  Have a wonderful, wonderful day.

Be seeing you.

Noumenal Variable, (or, Irrational, Remainder?)

--- thanking you kindly, inexplicably, in verse

Times such as mere uniqueness cannot measure
have nonetheless a common bond at last revealed
among them. Familiar. A scent of the unexperienced, a taste
neither describable nor explicable, nor even -- as I
know it must, my friend, appear --  warranted.  Of course,
I know better, I know proper, I know
not to  -- but here, immanent, I know that the
Good that grows thickly, and so attempt in verse.
You are not expected to understand, but may if you wish, that the
outcome of actions you doubted remarkable was, somehow,
understood as a sweet and sudden juxtaposed perfection

a poem by a faust to her lover

To my Lover,

who by example liveth more than he doth know

by a female faust

Such wonders would be worked my love for you by me alone

were I to live as  successful, sure, & confident, as my dreams possible have shewn

that, sometime sad,  more often lazy,  perhaps I have become... inclined...

to depend too much upon such shadows for what fix quick haste may find.

But of course one could have prophesied as much  --  that is,  if one had but your Skill,

to make,  in thickest chaos,  Observations objective by shear Will;

by Iudgement near unbiaséd.  A god, thou art become: Life -- thy World -- create;

Not by loose words accomplished: thyAction fast secures thy Fate.

staying so still.  Possible futures ebb and flow, gather and die
the world threatening to make real enough the magick at which it had but hinted
proof enough that the burden
the proof
not yours
is

as it were your own if you are become like Cassandra or Cressid
living as you dream
alone

you cannot explain, will not even start to,
you haven't the words as they must be in time
to a rhythm not yours, even had you the rhyme
nothing is yours till you can take it apart, til

you put it back together again.

setting out to do this proves on whose side the world is and
your heart is
the heart of a child, a feather, a friend

the whole world.  intact.  unaware it is special.  unaware that so rare a thing
that its you.

the dust will remember you, and live:

but you are the memory, and love.

the unspoken within is perhaps as you choose

dedicated to Emilia, of whose glamour it must be said one could glimpse an elusive gothic perfection at times.  should one desire such things.

If the rumours I started are true
And you have a master plan
I'd call this success were I you
You take your victories  -- where you can

You make me forget
You make me forget
You make me forget like a cat
You make me forget
You make me forget
You make me forget just like that

Though of course this cannot really be you

A Sonnet To My Belovéd (The First Of Many)

That My Other Work M ay Be

By My Belovéd

a sonnet

by a female Faust

Aß difficult to be who I would be,

Belovéd, iß like unto compoßing ßonnet fit

in meta – from, aß well aß – for:  for thee;

( though, an thou ßeest, thiß be writ).

For when reigning in the myriadß reßplendent

Ideaß begotten by thy wit upon my thought

I find them all collapßéd, lame, dependent

And quite unqualified to function aß they ought.

Myßelf I do conßider thiß brave compliment

though eaßily it ßeemeth the reverße

for though thiß sure redoundeth to my detriment

I alßo know that no attempt at all iß worße

...So... have I therefore worked about aß hard upon it,

aß have I yet on any -- finißhed --  ßonnet
